Sinem Aksoy
Movement and dance are the space in which I work and create. Within them, encounter, perception, and inner order arise for me, not as a method, but as a living process.
I accompany people into this experiential space.
My interest lies where all the senses become more perceptible again and something sorts itself out in the body without needing to be explained.
What sustains me is a deep curiosity about what awakens within a person when control is softened. I enjoy working in spaces where nothing is forced and things are allowed to unfold at their own pace. For me, it is precisely there that a special quality of connection to oneself arises.

What I work with
My work lies in the field of somatic movement and self-experience, exploring the interplay between body, nervous system, and inner presence. I create spaces for people to reconnect with their perception, to regulate themselves, and to develop a vibrant and clear relationship with themselves.
Body awareness, improvisation, and free dance are not methods for me, but rather a listening to what arises within the body. Movement becomes a dialogue with life itself – in the rhythm of what reveals itself, changes, and wants to be remembered.
Not as a technique, not as a choreography, but rather as a direct expression of the moment, in immediate contact with what is alive.
The point here is that the body should once again become a place where we can encounter ourselves.
